The menu was a little off of what was available; but my double oat milk latte was good. There's just one person working so there might be a wait; but after hiking up the Filbert steps and then realizing that the elevator was closed for coit tower, 13 stories up and down and you can expect to be wore out from the experience, which means coffee. Also, Its a outdoor roadside coffee shop so don't expect to take a seat when it is wet outside.

Coit Tower has always been one of the most visible symbols of San Francisco. You can see Coit Tower from different vantage points on top of a hill throughout San Francisco. There are a few times depending in the season Coit Tower lights up blue and golden yellow and orange and black. This is when the city is ready to celebrate a Championship and a street party all over San Francisco. It is like a Bat-Signal in Gotham City but for the San Francisco sports fans and also bandwagon fans . It's a journey of lights. Most recently it has been the Warriors ( San Francisco first then Golden State) and a couple years back with the San Francisco Giants . It's been decades for the 49ers. I am still waiting for the day for the San Francisco 49ers to make it happen and win another Super Bowl and Coit Tower to light up red and gold ( the quest continues). The trek up to Coit Tower has some interesting items on the trail. Once you get up to Coit Tower there is a museum and then before the entrance there is the Coit Tower Cafe. I thought just because I was in a San Francisco Tourist Trap that I would be paying tourist pricing at Coit Tower Cafe . The opposite is true. I got a Vanilla soft serve ice cream for $5 ( the ice cream is Straus but not Levi Strauss ) .The ice cream was smooth and not too sweet. The Coit Tower Cafe also has drinks and snacks available. After the cafe I went inside Coit Tower and saw some San Francisco historical art murals for free. Get a scoop at the Coit Tower Cafe and then go inside Coit Tower and go see a mural Watch the different art murals of what help built San Francisco and made it entrepreneurial

So for me when I read a review what I really want to know is if the person writing the review will actually go back and do business at this particular location again. Really that's all that matters right? It's either yes I can't wait to come back or no this place is not for me so what's my answer? The answer is ABSOLUTELY YES!! Perfectly located in the parking lot right below the Coit Tower.

I had the nicest experience today at the Coit Tower Cafe. Dianne, the witty and helpful lady who runs the concession made my day. She fixed me the most delicious ham and cheese sandwich and gave me a verbal tour of San Francisco with the best stories. A great time.
